Being able to pinpoint what you need and why you want it is very important in being able to set forth a goal and then to achieve it. A lot of people want more money but why do they want more money? Many people want to quit their jobs but why do you they want to quit their jobs? I think in setting specific, black and white goals in order to help achieve the goals that I have set forth in my life.
In the same way it is important for the dieter to set specific caloric intake restrictive goals in order to lose a specific number of pounds or fat and to add a specific amount of muscle each month, it is equally as important to be able to pinpoint the exact reasons why you want to find a work at home job. As a result, there are four questions that must be asked and answered are: What do you want? Why do you want it? What are you willing to do to make your goal come to fruition? Lastly, what will you do when you achieve this goal? If you cannot give specific answers to these questions, then you are still in the planning stage of finding a work at home job. This is a good place to start. However, if anxiousness prompts you to skip this step and to immediately begin to look for a work at home job without knowing why you are doing this, your lack of direction will cost you a lot of wasted time and effort.
If you want to quit your job, you must compute what would be the minimum amount that you would have to earn with a work at home job in order to comfortably replace your current income. If you hate your job but you are taking home $4,000 a month and you can depend on it, then a work at home job where you estimate that you can make $3,500-$4,000 is not enough of an income to where you can quit your current job, despite an exponential increase in your desire to do so. When choosing a work at home job, all emotions and blind faith must be taken out of the equation. Wanting to earn $10,000 a month from a work at home job and actually doing it are two very different things.
The most important thing that a work at home job offers is freedom. The money is good and it is a vehicle for that freedom. However, an exponential increase in one’s income is not the only good thing that is associated with working at home with a successful venture. I used to work 80-100 hours a week and now that I do not have to do that anymore, that is an even better reward than the money. Working 80-100 hours a week requires a lot of determination, a lot of energy drinks and very little sleep. The fact that I do not have to do that anymore, is as rewarding to me as the paychecks that I receive from my work at home job.
You can quit your search towards a better life for you and your family and continue to live your life of quiet desperation, OR you can try something different!
